Mr. Randy L. Pleva, Sr. National President Paralyzed Veterans of America

Summary of Statement,
Randy Pleva, Sr.,
National President,
Paralyzed Veterans of America

March 10, 2005

? PVA represents the interest of 21,000 veterans with spinal cord injuries.
? The protection of specialized services within VA is PVA's highest priority but spinal cord injury services cannot exist in a vacuum.
? PVA challenges the Administration's priorities.  Further, the recent views and estimates letters of the respective committees ?demonstrates that our voice was not heard, or was disregarded.?
? ?PVA will use whatever resources and means we have to continue to work to secure what we believe the VA requires to meet the needs of our members and all veterans.?
